“This summer I had the most fantastic experience ever. My teacher had offered me the chance to come with her to the Galapagos islands, little did I know I would have a life-changing experience that would change how I live and see nature. Before we went to the islands we stopped in Ecuador we had the chance to volunteer at Yanacocha wildlife reserve there a man named Raul devoted his time and energy to this project. This is a place where they rescue hurt and abused animals. There I had the chance to train Ocelots, kinkajous, monkeys, and more. It changed the way I saw how we live and how we can make such a significant impact on this earth. We only have one earth and we need to treat it with respect and kindness. I am so happy I have the chance to be a part of the NOA project and I can't wait for the next adventure.”
